Uzor Onyia is a researcher and teacher with the Department of Civil Engineering and African Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Energy and Power Development, University of Nigeria. He is also affiliated with Makerere University Kampala, ESUT Business School. He holds a PhD in Construction Management & Economics from London South Bank University. In addition, he has attended series of certified trainings including Public Health Care Services and Operational Health and Safety. Uzor’s excitement for indigenization and digitalization of construction management skills and competencies, and entrepreneurial engineering inspired his focus. He is also an advocate of environment, nature and culture. Consequently, he has contributed to fascinating journal articles, conference papers and a novel on management, culture, wellbeing and entrepreneurship. Born on the 3rd of September 1984 to the Onyia family of Umuaga, Udi LGA, Enugu State. Notably, Uzor is the founder of Onyia Construction, a construction management firm that applies research findings in execution of profitable joint venture real estate development in Nigeria.
